It comes and goes like the tide.

In the quiet times I hear a soft whispering. Bits of song, and even faint breathing: past tense. I am not afraid.

Otherwise I stay busy, keep my mind occupied. Now and then as I wander through the day, I will find the occasional ray of sunlight. But as often as I remind myself of this, it offers little comfort.

us to the Machine. a bronze touch,
the lonely unresident moon decides
its fallout /wherewithal /destiny, its

This is a good picture. I love high tech machinery that looks fictional and cool and just generally like this. Lol. It reminds me of an Industrial age airship or something.

I'm really enjoying the feeling of ascent - as if they're just emerging from the cloud layer. The vertically-pivoting cannons are a nice touch, as are the blade-like sails.

The slight differences between the two are intriguing too - is one a different (smaller?) class than the other?

Are those things on the side cannons? (You should say yes even if it isn't true because of how awesome that would be, but I guess you should say yes-but-not-really if it isn't true, so it can be awesome and honest at the same time.)

they really are cannons. the best part is that there are matching cannons on either side, so double the amount of cannons.
